Intellectual property rights management system
Inventec Appliances Corp. (IAC) established an independent intellectual property (IPR) management Center in 2008. It is responsible for IPR strategy management and is the strategy group of the IAC.
In addition, the IPR Management Center will also integrate information such as brainstorming meetings, technical strategy management meetings, and E-Learning platforms for multiple technologies of innovation proposals from its subsidiaries in the IAC group.
Moreover, the IPR Management Center integrates information for creation, maintenance and effective operation to be an innovative management system.
IAC encourages colleagues to innovate and invent through expert training, patent review mechanism, and reward mechanism.
Creating and applying for valid patents have been deeply planted in the hearts of colleagues and fully integrated with the corporate organizational culture.
"IPR strategy management and effective integration of business operations," means that after the top executives formulate the direction and quality KPI targets, the IPR Management Center, Patent Management Committee, Patent Steering Team and Patent Review Team will work together as an IPR team to manage and steer IPR rights.
The IPR team is composed of management executives, IPR directors, R&D directors and technical experts. It effectively implements the company's IPR targets to achieve expected results, wherein "multiple types" and "full coverage" at the level of knowledge and skills are the elements.
The "Professional Interactive Evaluation and Decision Mechanism" is jointly established by maintaining well interaction between the IPR team and the R&D team to report to IAC top management.
